HOW IT WORKS:
Just start up ASSM, point to a folder containing the pictures you intend to
create your slide show from, optionally type captions under as many
of the pictures as you like, then click the "OK" button and your entire
slide show is created for you, ready to go up to your web site, or on
a CD that starts playing when inserted into a CD drive.
Or just store it on your own computer.
DO YOU HAVE "WEB SPACE" FOR YOUR OWN WEB SITE?
You may not even know that you most likely have a place your ISP
provides for you to make put your own site on the web.
Contact your ISP for info on "your" personal web site space.
Then just copy the entire slide show folder you created with all
the pictures and ASSM-created slide show pages in it, up to your
web site. The ASSM slide show files go directly to your web
site wihtout changing any of them. Then you can simply email
the web address of your slide show to your family and friends,
like "http://myISP.com/~smith/vacation2004", for example.
You can even create a slide show, Zip all the files in the pictures folder
into one compressed file and email it to friends and family members.
