***************************************************
* The Bottom Line...
***************************************************

Ever bought anything online?

A recent breach into a major credit card processor has
resulted in the theft of thousands of credit card numbers.

Hackers who have stolen credit card numbers (possibly yours)
are currently checking their stolen credit card numbers to
see which ones will allow them to steal money from them.

VACM has received firsthand reports of the latest telltale signs
seen when your credit card information is in the hands of
other(s). Thousands of card numbers have been stolen
and huge numbers of people are going through the
unpleasant task of dealing with their banks, cancelling
cards, and so on. You CAN avoid this if you watch your
account(s). This is happening now...

Too many people are finding out, many too late, that
their credit/debit card has been bilked of $1,000 or some
other amount of money.

NOTE: This is not the first time this has happened, but it
is apparently happening again with this latest batch of
stolen credit card numbers.

***************************************************
* What You Should Do
***************************************************

1. First get rid of all spywares, keyloggers and back doors
(spywares) from your system. This is mandatory since
you want to keep your online banking username and
password private (and any others for that matter).
(If you need a good spyware remover, see end of article)

2. Check your credit card and/or bank statements at least
daily and look for charges for 1 cent or 5 cents or
possiby some other amount less than $10 (usually).
This is your key to knowing that hackers have run
a check to see if your credit/debit card can be
  stolen from.

3. If you find charges you cannot account for, do NOT wait!
Find out who made the charge, get their phone number
(call your financial institution if need be to get
this information). Get any info you can and promptly
Cancel Your Card! We have firsthand knowledge
of this happening to people. Don't be one of them.

4. If you find an invalid charge on your account, chances are
very high that you are a target for a larger theft in
the near future!!! Did you know that it is very easy
for hackers to find out how much they can steal from
your credit/debit card? It is very simple. It is part
of the current worldwide credit card processing system.

TOOLS TO BE SAFE:

In order to complete step 1, you need a good spyware remover.
You can find one of the Top Selling Spyware Removers here:

To protect yourself in the future, only do your online shopping
with a credit/debit card that includes Fraud Protection so that
you can get your money back if hackers steal from you.

To keep hackers from accessing usernames and passwords from your
own PC directly, you need the best personal firewall you can get.
Do not trust the one that is built into Windows XP!
ZoneAlarm Pro still ranks #1 in its ability to protect your system.
You can get your copy here (Pro recommended, free available):

******** APPENDIX - Handy How-To Tips **********

  * How To Boot into Safe Mode

Shut the computer down so that the power is off.

Turn the computer on, wait 1 second and begin pressing the F8 key
on the keyboard, once every second repeatedly. Do this until
the Windows Startup Menu appears. If you get a keyboard
error, press F1 to resume and then continue pressing the
F8 key once every second, or your PC may tell you to press another key for BIOS setup.

Select Safe Mode from the Windows Startup Menu, then press
the Enter key on the keyboard.

Windows will then boot into Safe Mode.
NOTE: This may take longer than a normal boot.

At the end of the boot process a dialog box will appear
informing you that Windows is in Safe Mode. Click OK on this dialog box.

Windows is now in Safe Mode.

If you miss hitting the F8 at the right time, Windows will boot
normally and you will not see the "Safe Mode" message.  In this
case, start from the top of these instructions until you get the
boot menu screen where you can choose "Safe Mode".  This can be
a little tricky the first time you do it.
