***************************************************
* The Bottom Line...
***************************************************
Recent changes in US laws have made it legal for pretty
much anyone to look at your credit history.

Too many inquiries about your credit score with the major
credit bureaus can adversely affect your credit rating.

NOTE:  you CAN opt-out of this serious breach of privacy.

VERY IMPORTANT CAUTIONS below...

***************************************************
* What You Should Do
***************************************************

1. First, you can opt-out of the recent law that allows
anyone who asks to get your credit report.
Thanks to modern technology, opting out, and preventing
your credit info from being given out, can be done via
a simple telephone call to 1-888-567-8688.  The call
is a simple voice activated process.  You can remove
yourself from public scrutiny for 5 years, forever, or
put yourself back on the "OK to check" list at this
  number.

2. What to do with all those credit card offers?
Do NOT just throw them away.  Doing that invites
identity theft, because anyone can use your credit
card signup junk mail (with its "invitation code") to
get a new credit card in your name.  You need to
destroy all of this type of junk mail.  Anything with a
product offer #, or invitation code needs to be shredded
or burned or otherwise permanently destroyed.
  Sad, but true...

3. If you find charges you cannot account for, do NOT wait!
Find out who made the charge, get their phone number
(call your financial institution if need be to get
this information). Get any info you can and promptly
Cancel Your Card! We have firsthand knowledge
of this happening to people. Don't be one of them.

4. If you find an invalid charge on your account, chances are
very high that you are a target for a larger theft in
the near future!!! Did you know that it is very easy
for hackers to find out how much they can steal from
your credit/debit card? It is very simple. It is part
of the current worldwide credit card processing system.

TOOLS TO BE SAFE:

Don't take a chance.  Protect your online activity.

You need a good spyware remover.
You can find one of the Top Selling Spyware Removers here:

To protect yourself in the future, only do your online shopping
with a credit/debit card that includes Fraud Protection so that
you can get your money back if hackers steal from you.

To keep hackers from accessing usernames and passwords from your
own PC directly, you need the best personal firewall you can get.
Do not trust the one that is built into Windows XP!
ZoneAlarm Pro still ranks #1 in its ability to protect your system.

******** APPENDIX - Handy How-To Tips **********

  * How To Boot into Safe Mode

Shut the computer down so that the power is off.

Turn the computer on, wait 1 second and begin pressing the F8 key
on the keyboard, once every second repeatedly. Do this until
the Windows Startup Menu appears. If you get a keyboard
error, press F1 to resume and then continue pressing the
F8 key once every second, or your PC may tell you to press another key for BIOS setup.

Select Safe Mode from the Windows Startup Menu, then press
the Enter key on the keyboard.

Windows will then boot into Safe Mode.
NOTE: This may take longer than a normal boot.

At the end of the boot process a dialog box will appear
informing you that Windows is in Safe Mode. Click OK on this dialog box.

Windows is now in Safe Mode.

If you miss hitting the F8 at the right time, Windows will boot
normally and you will not see the "Safe Mode" message.  In this
case, start from the top of these instructions until you get the
boot menu screen where you can choose "Safe Mode".  This can be
a little tricky the first time you do it.
